About the Department
Diploma in Civil Engineering is based on the principles of science, mathematics and computational tools. The quality life of the society depends on its structure. In this way the civil department plays a vital role in building structures. Diploma in civil engineering builds a strong theoretical foundation with combined practical experiments in various fields such as; construction, structures, transportation, estimation, town planning etc. The civil department was started in the year 2007 with approved strength of 45 and later it was upgraded into 60 in the year 2009.

PROGRAM VISION
Department of Civil Engineering will contribute to the college to become an institute of technical excellence which imparts cutting edge technical knowledge, skills and attitude to make every youth into a professionally skilled Civil Engineer.
PROGRAM MISSION
To train diploma students with adequate technical knowledge and skills in civil engineering to make them employable, entrepreneurial, socially responsible and environmentally sensitive.

PSO1: Able to understand the fundamental concepts and theories of Civil Engineering and to design effectively the various components of the structures.
PSO2: Apply the fundamental concepts of drawing to make the plan and elevation of a structure.
